Under the implementation of the The “Developing Capacity in Agriculture Innovation Systems Project”: Scaling up the Tropical Agriculture Platform Framework” (TAP-AIS project) in Lao PDR, the FAO project team in collaboration with the Centre for Research on Innovation and Science Policy (CRISP), and the Department of Agriculture Extension and Cooperatives (DAEC) organizing a training on Farmer Information Needs Assessment in Lao PDR, targeting district and provincial extension officers from the DEAC. 40 officers from the DAEC participated in this training programme. Rasheed Sulaiman V and Nimisha Mittal from CRISP led the training ably supported by supported by Delgermaa Chulunnbaatar and Holley Aiden from FAO. Mr. Sopha Sitthisom, Deputy Director General of DAEC/Project Steering Committee Member for TAP AIS offered closing remarks.
